Icon of the Seas
Icon of the Seas℠ set sail for the first time in January 2024 as the largest cruise ship in the world. At maximum capacity, the ship has room for 7,600 guests and over 2,000 crew members, giving it the ability to carry nearly 10,000 people on board. However, you’ll find that the ship’s distinctive neighborhood design makes it feel spacious and comfortable without feeling overcrowded. Icon of the Seas redefined Royal Caribbean offerings, elevating amenities in the entire fleet.
Things to Do
You’ll never wonder what to do on Icon of the Seas! The ship is divided into eight distinctive neighborhoods, a signature Royal Caribbean feature. Icon has more than seven pools (including an adult-only space with a suspended infinity pool), a plethora of entertainment options, and tons of activities. Experience adrenaline-pumping attractions at Thrill Island, which is home to a full-fledged on-board waterpark, Category 6. The waterpark has six slides and other ways to splish and splash, with many of the slides breaking cruise industry records. Thrill Island is also home to FlowRider® surf simulator, an onboard mini-golf course, and Crown’s Edge℠, a debut attraction that lets you hang and zipline off the ship’s side. The Surfside℠ neighborhood is designed for families with small children and includes a splash pad, a carousel, arcades, and more. There’s also an ice rink, kids-only recreation areas, and all the amenities you’d expect, like a gym, running track, sports areas, and tons of open walkways to explore.

Dining and Entertainment
There are over 40 dining, lounge, and nightlife options onboard, many of which are included with your cruise fare. Everyone from foodies to picky toddlers will be delighted. From kid-friendly all-day pizza to premium steakhouses, the Icon has everything you could want! The entertainment on board is second-to-none. The AquaTheater, which was previously available on other Royal Caribbean ships, has gotten a glow-up and moved inside to the AquaDome, the ship’s diamond-faceted crown, at the front of the ship. By day, this space is a tranquil place to grab a drink and some light bites away from the hustle and bustle of other neighborhoods. Absolute Zero℠, the ice skating rink, hosts nightly shows featuring Olympic-level skaters. The Icon features an exclusive rendition of The Wizard of Oz (the first production at sea), with cutting-edge technology and visual effects that bring the story into the 21st century. There are also many piano lounges, live bands, DJs, karaoke contests, stand-up comedians, and much more!
Accommodations
There are just over 2,800 staterooms on board the Icon, with 28 room categories and 179 suites spanning four decks. Many staterooms feature balconies (with standard or wrap-around options) or have ocean views through floor-to-ceiling windows. There are also a variety of family suites that offer separate rooms for kids. The Ultimate Family Townhouse is the ship’s most spacious and luxurious accommodation, with three levels of amenities (including an in-room tunnel slide), that sleeps up to eight people. Book a stay in a suite for perks like priority boarding, access to the exclusive suite deck with a private pool and bar, and 24-hour room service.
Destinations & Itineraries
Icon of the Seas sails seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises from Miami, always visiting Perfect Day at CocoCay for a variety of on-island experiences. Other Western Caribbean ports may include Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico, as well as Roatan, Honduras. Eastern itineraries stop at St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and Puerto Rico.

Star of the Seas
Royal Caribbean’s newest ship, Star of the Seas℠, is Icon’s sister ship and made its debut in August 2025. The ship includes many of the signature amenities found onboard Icon, along with several unique experiences. Our team recently sailed on preview voyages. Visit our Facebook page to see highlights from our trip.
Things to Do
Star of the Seas features the iconic eight neighborhoods that premiered on Icon. One of our favorite places to walk and grab a drink is the Central Park neighborhood, located in an open-air section in the middle of the ship. The ship also includes the Category 6 waterpark, Surfside neighborhoods, and tons of other amenities. Need a place to relax? Head over to Chill Island, a three-deck tranquil space that offers several pools with ocean views, and Royal Bay Pool—the first swim-up bar at sea for Royal Caribbean. The Hideaway neighborhood features a suspended infinity pool, a bar, whirlpools, and a DJ. It’s also the perfect spot to watch a sunset! The Surfside neighborhood has also expanded to include more features that appeal to older kids, such as laser tag, an arcade, and escape rooms. There are also family-friendly activities like field day, silent dance parties (where everyone wears headphones), and block parties.

Dining & Entertainment
Star of the Seas also features 40 dining locations, with a few unique twists. The Lincoln Park Supper Club is a 1930s jazz lounge that offers drinks and light bites. In addition, Star brings Back to the Future: The Musical (directly from Broadway) to the ship’s Royal Theater. The AquaTheater and Absolute Zero feature new exclusive shows, as well. Also, we love walking around the ship at night. Star comes to life with dazzling lighting all throughout the ship!

Accommodations
There are 28 room types onboard (similar to Icon). Check out the Surfside Family Suites, which sleep up to four guests and are conveniently located next to Surfside so you can easily enjoy the neighborhood’s activities and amenities. In addition to the many spacious room options with balconies, Star also features an Ultimate Family Townhouse just like Icon.
Destinations and Itineraries
Star of the Seas sets sail out of Port Canaveral, making it convenient to add a trip to Central Florida attractions like Disney, Universal, and SeaWorld before or after your cruise. Star sails seven-night cruises to the Eastern and Western Caribbean and Perfect Day at CocoCay with similar ports of call as Icon.

Utopia of the Seas
Utopia of the Seas℠ gives cruisers the ultimate long weekend getaway, sailing for three and four-night cruises out of Port Canaveral. Utopia delivers many of the thrilling attractions and amenities of other Oasis-class ships with compact timelines for long weekends or quick getaways.
Things to Do
There are tons of amenities to fill your days. Get your thrills on the Ultimate Abyss℠, a 10-deck-tall dry slide that plunges you into the depths of the ocean, fly high over the Boardwalk neighborhood across a 200-foot zip line down the ship’s center, or test your courage at an on-board escape room. Cool off at Splashaway Bay℠, a kid-friendly splash park, take a dip in one of five on-board pools, hang ten on FlowRider, or race your friends on one of three waterslides in The Perfect Storm℠. Adults have their own places to cool off and relax in the Solarium.

Dining & Entertainment
Pack your three- or four-day cruise with over 40 dining and bar options, along with an Aquatheater show set to 80s hits, an original production in the Broadway-style theater, and an adult-only comedy club. Not to mention the late-night lounges and bars that offer dancing, live music, karaoke, and even a silent disco party. There are also several deck parties, from sail-away celebrations to sunset soirées. Add on a unique dining experience at Royal Railway℠—Utopia Station℠, an interactive railroad-themed dining experience where you’ll take a train ride that transports you to the Old West.
Accommodations
There are many flexible stateroom accommodations for families and groups with adjoining rooms, bunk beds, and pull-out sofas. Innovative suite options include the Solarium Suite, which offers 280° ocean views from the front of the ship. Or, stay in a Royal Loft Suite with a split-level loft that sleeps up to six guests and includes a private balcony with a whirlpool, minibar, and TV. Take in the views with tons of Ocean View Balcony options, or look out onto the bustling neighborhoods throughout the ship.
Destinations and Itineraries
Even with a short cruise, tropical vibes are always close by. All Utopia cruises visit Perfect Day at CocoCay, and most also stop in Nassau, Bahamas, along with at least one day at sea.

Wonder of the Seas
